Visit Westminster

Location

Westminster School is located in Simsbury, Connecticut approximately 12 miles north of Hartford. Our campus, on 200-forested acres, is situated atop Williams Hill overlooking the Farmington River and downtown Simsbury — a quintessential New England town. Bradley International Airport is a short 20-minute drive away. We are conveniently located halfway between New York City (120 miles) and Boston (110 miles).

Simsbury Among the Best in Connecticut and the U.S.
As recognized by Money magazine, Simsbury has “that special something that makes it a great place to live.” From a casual cup of coffee or slice of pizza with friends to a nice night out with parents, students and faculty members enjoy spending time in town. "Highly walkable, bikeable and livable … with a small-town feel in a photo ready setting" according to CTForMe, it is not unusual to see students and faculty members running, walking and biking around Simsbury on weekends. The centrality of Westminster’s location also means easy access for weekend outings to the movies, mall, hiking, restaurants, performing arts venues and more.

Admissions Visits

Westminster is at its core a community and is best highlighted through personal interactions. As such, we very much hope you will be able to visit campus. Before reaching out to schedule a visit, we would appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to fill out our inquiry form.

Your visit will include a student-guided tour and an interview with a member of our Admissions team. Interviews and tours will be offered Monday through Saturday at the times listed below starting September 21. To schedule, please call the Office of Admissions at (860) 408-3060 or email admit@tamilfolksongs.com. For those unable to visit campus, we would be happy to schedule a Zoom interview.

Please be aware that popular slots fill quickly and schedule your interview sooner rather than later. Ideally, you should plan to interview before our application deadline January 15. Please note that we do not schedule interviews during our Thanksgiving break (November 22 - December 2) and winter break (December 19 - January 6).
